| The basilica, on
the
Via Nomentana, outside the walls of Rome (Aurelian Wall) was built
by Pope Honorius I in the 7th century. It stands above a fourth century
catacomb. The basilica is physically connected to the church/mausoleum
of Santa Costanza. |
